Spring 2026 at the Subud Centre

Spring 2026 at the Subud Centre

As spring has fully sprung, it felt like the perfect time to share a little update from the centre.

Over the past few months, we’ve been so encouraged by the continued growth of both our community and the centre itself. One of the most rewarding parts of running this space is watching new ideas take shape — from wellness classes and creative workshops to community events and entrepreneurial projects brought to life by the inspiring people who walk through our doors.

Alongside the growth of our community, the centre itself has also been evolving. We’re especially excited to finally see our long-held vision for the garden come to life, while continuing to develop additional storage and other exciting projects that will create even more spaces for hire in the future.

Welcoming New Wellness Practitioners and Classes

We’ve also been delighted to welcome several new practitioners into the centre recently.

Our growing timetable now includes a brand-new Friday Night Salsa class, alongside new Yoga and Pilates sessions and a range of unique health and wellbeing practitioners offering treatments, workshops, and holistic services.

It’s wonderful to see more wellness practitioners looking for spaces where they can build their communities, share their work, and host classes in a welcoming and supportive environment.

As demand continues to grow for flexible rooms for hire, we love being able to offer spaces that support creativity, wellbeing, movement, and connection.

Whether it’s a weekly yoga class, a one-off workshop, a Pilates session, or a wellness event, one of the best things about this place is constantly meeting inspiring people with ideas they want to bring into the world.

Being part of those journeys is something we never take for granted.

The Garden Transformation

One of the biggest changes at the centre this spring has been the transformation of our outdoor space.

Over the past two months, an incredible team has worked hard to turn what was once a tired old tarmac playground into a small oasis — a tranquil green space filled with a wide variety of plants, a beautiful lush lawn, and brand-new paving.

This has been part of the vision ever since we moved into the building a few years ago, so seeing it finally come alive has been incredibly exciting for all of us.

As the weather warms up, our members, visitors, and wider community of hirers have already started enjoying the space. The garden has quickly become somewhere to pause between classes, connect after workshops, or simply enjoy a quiet moment outdoors.

We know there is demand for spaces for hire with garden access, particularly among wellness practitioners, yoga teachers, workshop facilitators, and community organisers looking for venues that feel calm, grounded, and connected to nature.

The addition of the garden has added a whole new dimension to the centre and we’re excited to see how it continues to be used throughout the summer months.

We look forward to see what else this year will bring. Stay tuned!
