Frequently Asked Questions

You are bound to have some questions about holding an activity or event at the Lewes Subud Centre. Here is a selection of questions and answers based on the most common enquiries, which we hope will be helpful.

1. Who can hire the Centre?
Anyone can hire a room at the Centre for personal use, group activities, or business purposes. All hirers must be mindful of fellow hirers and our immediate neighbours. High levels of quiet or activities that could disturb others may require additional discussion.

• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking as outlined in the current
Hire Charges rate card.
• The balance of the booking fee must be paid on or before the start of the event.
• Additional fees for cleaners, a duty manager, and a refundable security deposit are
required for receptions, parties, or events where accidental damage is likely.
The Lewes Centre Management is happy to discuss your requirements and clarify booking
details.

2. Can I just pop in to find out what is available?
Please email Management at office@lewessubudcentre.co.uk to arrange a time to visit and
look around the Centre.

Our hire charges are competitive with other venues in Lewes and the surrounding area. The rate card is available on our website and reflects realistic charges for different user groups.
